Installation
You may install FamilyInsight or PAF Insight without uninstalling any previous versions, as long as you have exited from FamilyInsight and PAF Insight and from PAF before installing. If you have installed a later version, you will need to uninstall the later version for this installation to be successful.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO MAKE SURE FAMILYINSIGHT OR PAF INSIGHT WILL WORK: The first time you run familyInsight or PAF Insight after installing a new or different version, you need to be sure your firewall program will allow it to access the Internet. Typically a firewall will pop up a notice that asks if you want to block PAF Insight. You must change the settings on this popup notice to always allow PAF Insight to access the internet. If you just click OK, without changing the settings, you may need to manually configure the firewall to allow FamilyIsnight and PAF Insight to access the Internet.
We recommend that all computers be protected by a firewall.
