Install Ordinance Tracker

Ordinance Tracker is included in FamilyInsight but is now available as a stand alone product for those that use new FamilySearch directly or use other genealogy programs but would like the ease of Ordinance Tracker to manage ordinances they have reserved.

Note: This version of Ordinance Tracker works with FamilySearch family tree ( If you do not have a log in for the actual FamilySearch family tree ( you will be unable to use the "Sync with FamilySearch Mode" unless you have someone to sign in as your helper in Helper Mode.


You must have Window 2000, XP, Vista, or Windows 7 or an Intel Mac to run Ordinance Treacker.

To install Ordinance Tracker, click on the Download button below. When your browser asks whether you want to Save or Open/Run the file, choose Open/Run. When the download is complete, the installer will run.

NOTICE: The first time you run Ordinance Tracker after installing it, you need to be sure your firewall program will allow it to access the Internet. Typically a firewall will pop up a notice that asks if you want to block Ordinance Tracker. You must change the settings on this popup notice to always allow Ordinance Tracker to access the internet. If you just click OK, without changing the settings, you may need to manually configure the firewall to allow Ordinance Tracker to access the Internet.

We recommend that all computers be protected by a firewall.
